| Report To Consumers |
Ernie Sprance has been 'doing radio' all of his adult life, having landed his first radio job as a reporter for a small daytimer while attending college in Albany, NY in the early 1970's. It was in 1985, while anchoring the morning news block for WVIP in Mount Kisco, NY, that he began voicing Report to Consumers. In 1991, Ernie left full-time radio to open his own video post-production facility -- editing local television commercials, promotional videos and the like. In 1998 ... Ernie became full-time Manager of Consumer Reports Radio, taking over the task of writing, syndicating, and producing the daily radio feature which is now heard on over 290 stations across the country ... and around the world on Armed Forces Radio. Ernie commutes to Consumer Reports National Headquarters in Yonkers, NY from his home in northern New Jersey where he lives with his wife, a son and daughter, and two dogs. On his off-hours, he still 'does video' but for only one client -- a multi-media company that produces videos of childrens picture books |
